Handwriting Tutoring

Handwriting Tuturing
If your child is struggling with pencil grasp, handwriting legibility, letter sizing, spacing, or staying on the baseline, targeted tutoring from an experienced occupational therapist can help build confidence and skill.
Tutoring sessions are distinct from formal occupational therapy and are not billed as therapy services. These sessions focus on repetitive practice, skill building drills and adaptations—all delivered through the lens of an OT who understands how motor skills, posture, vision, and sensory processing influence handwriting. The work is supportive and informed by clinical knowledge, but it does not include therapeutic intervention, evaluation, or treatment.
Sessions may be provided one‑on‑one or in small groups (for families with multiple children) and can take place in your home, local parks, community centers, or libraries—wherever your child feels most comfortable.
This service is available for learners ages 6–18 who have already received initial handwriting instruction. Additional areas such as fine‑motor development, visual‑perceptual strengthening, and cursive writing may also be addressed as appropriate.

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards (please note, additional fees apply for credit card payments). Additional charges may apply for sessions outside the service area.
